
VIEWS is a growing grassroots organisation working in Odisha for the empowerment of marginalised communities, especially children, adolescents, youths, women and person with disability through various high-impact projects since 2008. Its customised interventions in Sustainable Livelihood, Quality Education and Climate Resilience enable communities to improve their quality of life and take lead as changemakers. It has been working alongside different national and international agencies to integrate traditional knowledge and expertise with modern-day development practices for capacity building of targeted groups and delivering outcomes. VIEWS has received a Special Consultative Status by the UN’s Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2019.

We strengthen income security through climate-smart agriculture, rural entrepreneurship, green skills, and market linkages—addressing SDG 1 (No Poverty) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
We enhance learning outcomes for children and youth in underserved communities, with a focus on girls and children with disabilities—advancing SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
We work with coastal and climate-vulnerable communities to adopt adaptive, nature-based solutions and strengthen disaster preparedness—supporting SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 2 (Zero Hunger).
Strengthen the organization’s governance systems, policies, and internal culture to ensure transparency, accountability, and impact-driven programming by 2030.
Establish a Resource and Training Centre by 2030 to build capacities of stakeholders, promote innovation, and serve as a platform for knowledge exchange.
